'Beowulf' Receives Accolades at Theatre BC South Island Zone Festival!!

Our School Production of 'Beowulf' received 8 or the 13 awards handed out at the Theatre BC South Island Zone Festival on Saturday May 26:

Beowulf was also selected as one of the three plays to be workshopped on Mainstage in Kamloops!!!

Teacher Sponsors: Mr. Taylor, Ms. Barnum, Mr. Alsop.

These three teachers will be with our group all weekend.

The North Island Drama Festival is a high school festival whose members are drawn from Ladysmith to Port Hardy to Powell River. Students perform and are adjudicated publicly on the night of their performance, then privately the next day. One play is selected to move on to the Provincial drama showcase.

We are bringing one pick-up truck with the set.

We will be walking to and from the venues (approximately 20 minute walks each way)

There are kitchenettes in the students' suites (Port Augusta: 250 339 2277). Students should feel free to pack their own food.
