Improvable VIII

What a great run we enjoyed! Over 700 people came for dessert and improvised theatre, dance, and song. Thank you to our wonderful audiences and to all those who helped with the shows and participated.

'Wizard of Oz' auditions will be held on Dec 3, 4, 5. Sign up on the drama board. All welcome.

The first week of improv shows is over and has thus far been a great success.  We entertained over 350 people in three nights and are excited to do the same again this week.  Tickets are still available at the LSS office and Salamander Books.  Get them fast as we sold out last Saturday and will likely do again.

Friday

Meet in Chemainus 1:30 to catch ferry to Thetis Island. Walk from ferry terminal on Thetis to Camp Columbia. 3:00-4:00 Camp rules reviewed (all school rules in force), camp routines reviewed and rooms assigned. 4:00-4:30 free time to settle in. 4:30 - 7:00 Large group meeting and work session to review Improvable Show structure and camp goals. 7:00-8:00 Dinner. 8:00-8:30 Prepare for evening session. 8:30-11:00 Large group check-in. 11:00 Lights out and supervised common room time.

Saturday

8:00-9:00 Breakfast. 9:30-12:00 Group work session (groups split off to work Band, Dance, Improv). 12:00-1:00 Lunch. 1:00-3:30 Large group work session on shared choreography and structrues. 3:30-6:00 Small group work time/free time. 6:00-7:00 Dinner. 7:30-10:30 Evening work session (presentation of group work to large group for show inclusion). 10:30 Mug Up. 11:00 Lights out and supervised common room time.

Sunday

8:00-9:00 Breakfast. 9:30-11:30 Camp Clean-up. 11:30 Large group meeting to review camp work. 12:00 Lunch. 12:30 walk to ferry terminal to catch 1:10 ferry (arr Chemainus 1:55). Parents pick up students at 1:55 in Chemainus.

To Bring: sleeping bag, towel, indoor shoes, fun.
